Kate, our director (and owner of The SEND Advisory Team) has worked in the education sector for 20 + years and over that time held a variety of positions; Teacher, SENCo, leadership, trust lead, Ofsted, Advisory, School Improvement. Throughout her career her reputation grew and stakeholders across the education sector would keep asking Kate back for advice and support on developing trust wide systems and processes that had impact. Schools valued the external SEND reviews (even those that knew they were amazing), and SEND trust leaders and SENCo’s found incredible value in the coaching and mentoring offer to support drive change. It also became apparent that SENCo’s needed a ‘one stop’ hub for high quality professionals to support with meeting needs.

Demand for Kate’s time and expertise resulted in an associate pool developing and quickly resulted in the creation of The SEND Advisory Team.
